Flood Affected Private Wells

The Province is providing guidance to homeowners with water wells that have been impacted by flooding. 

Please read the notice that is attached below.

Some key points to note:

-          Testing will be available as of Monday, June 15, 2026.

-          There will be one free subsidized test per affected well, which is provided through Duracan.

-          There is also a link to a list of other accredited laboratories, but these will not be able to provide the free subsidized testing.

-          Duracan will be working with the municipality or watershed districts to distribute sampling kits and coordinate sample returns. We will provide further information once they have reached out to us.
