Notice is hereby given that a vote of the Rural Municipality of Rosser will be taken to elect Reeve and Councillors from the following duly nominated candidates:

Voting places will be open for voting on Wednesday the 28^th day of October, 2026 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at:

Ward 1            Rosser Central Community Club,  0 38E PR 221, Rosser

Ward 2            Rosser Central Community Club,  0 38E PR 221, Rosser

Ward 3            Lilyfield United Church, 7 159E RD 68N, RM of Rosser

Ward 4            Lilyfield United Church, 7 159E RD 68N, RM of Rosser

 

IDENTIFICATION MAY BE REQUIRED BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO VOTE.  A person may be required to produce one piece of government issued photo identification (for example - driver’s license) or at least two other documents that provide proof of identity.

ADVANCE VOTING

For the purpose of accommodating persons who are qualified to vote, but who have reason to believe that they will be absent or otherwise unable to attend their proper voting place on election day, an advance voting opportunity will be at the Rosser Municipal Office located at 77E, PR 221, Rosser, Mb., R4B 0C6 held on

Thursday, October 15, 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Friday, October 16, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

APPLICATION TO VOTE BY SEALED ENVELOPE

A voter who is unable to go in person to the voting place or vote in advance, may apply in person, in writing, or by email to the senior election official at the Rural Municipality of Rosser, 77E, PR 221, Rosser Mb., R4B 0C6; email address: officeassistant1@rmofrosser.com

If applying in person*, a voter may apply between September 30 and October 25, 2026.

*A voter applying in person may pick up a sealed envelope ballot package at the time of application.

If applying by mail or email**, a voter may apply by October 25, 2026

** A voter applying by mail or email will receive a sealed envelope ballot package by regular post, or by making alternative arrangements with the senior election official.
